Always something to learn as they say. I am listed as the holder of the city of Newark, so I keep getting the "wrong type of holding" alert. It say I am not a tribal ruler and therefore my holding doesn't accept my vassal. Because whenever I assign a landed title I see the levy is. In a separate issue, I have towns/castles that I can't upgrade because it says I don't have Keeps II which I do have. As long as this rule is respected, it *should* be possible to change the type of a holding.
